Cut by hand from a single sheet of Argentium silver, this mezuzah takes its form from the oak leaf — its veins traced in chased lines, its surface gently coaxed into subtle curves that catch the light and lend the piece a quiet sense of movement, as if stirred by an unseen breeze.
Tucked at the back, a small silver cap and ring cradle the glass tube within, sheltering the prayer scroll it holds. And at the foot of the front leaf rests a fine silver Shin — gilded in a heavy sheet of 24k yellow gold through Keum-boo, an ancient Korean technique that fuses gold to silver with nothing more than heat, pressure, and patience.
