Nature is my inspiration. I create expertly crafted heirloom jewelry and vessels, working in noble metals that will one day be owned, worn, displayed, or used by clients in their everyday lives. It is my hope that each piece becomes a family treasure, passed down from generation to generation.

My work moves between two distinct visual languages. One is rooted in the fluid lines and sensuous forms of the Art Nouveau era, echoing the organic beauty of the natural world. The other draws on Art Deco, whose geometric precision leads me toward an entirely different body of work. Over my 50+ year career, my years as a bench jeweler taught me to design and create custom pieces, repair heirloom jewelry, and solve problems at the bench—skills that remain at the heart of everything I make.

As my work has evolved, I've moved from gold to sterling silver, and my scale has grown from small jewelry to larger tabletop pieces, giving me a broader canvas to explore my fascination with insects and the natural world. Every piece is fabricated entirely by hand, with no manufactured components: each begins as sheet metal, cut and shaped, then formed into three-dimensional life through traditional silversmithing techniques. Ancient methods—chasing, repoussé, engraving, granulation (fusing gold to silver), saw piercing, and others—bring detail, texture, and depth to every surface.

Throughout my career, I've continually pushed myself to grow, both as an artist and as a businessperson, and that evolution shows in the expansion of my work from jewelry alone to sculptural, large-scale pieces. Whether I'm collaborating with a client on a custom commission or creating a mezuzah for a museum collection, I bring the same commitment to beauty, design, and technical mastery to every piece I make.
