The Intricacy Series showcases Genevieve's hand-pierced, saw-cut work, a technique in which material is carefully cut away to reveal intricate, lace-like patterns and produce a lighter-weight finished piece. Scrolling vines, leaves, and filigree motifs are pierced throughout circular, oval, teardrop, and trillion-shaped forms, with contrasting satin and high-polish finishes used to bring depth and dimension to each design. Fabricated in Argentium silver, this series reflects a time-intensive process that Genevieve finds especially absorbing to create.
