Pitcher Plant Shabbat Candle Holder

This candle holder celebrates the curious architecture of the pitcher plant, whose trumpet-shaped blossoms and watchful, hooded lids have long captivated as nature's own vessels—built not to hold flowers, but to hold something else entirely.
The design draws inspiration from the plant's natural form, its three pitcher blossoms rising together from a base modeled on the plant's actual leaf structure. Handcrafted in sterling silver, the piece features hand-formed sheet silver shaped into each individual pitcher, while chasing brings texture and dimension to two leaves nestled at the base of the blossoms. Sculptural and structural in equal measure, the piece is fitted to hold two Shabbat candles, allowing it to function beautifully as both a ceremonial object and a freestanding work of art once the candles have burned down.
