There is a particular pleasure in finding something small and unexpected on a leaf — a wandering ant, unhurried and purposeful, crossing an expanse of green as if the whole world were contained in that single surface. These earrings begin there, with that quiet observation, and translate it into silver.
Fabricated from Argentium silver and given a soft satin finish, each earring captures the distinctive silhouette of the calla lily leaf with clean, confident lines. Saw-pierced openings at the upper portion of each leaf allow light to pass through, lending the form an elegant lightness despite its bold presence. A tiny ant, chased and repoussé by hand, wanders across the surface — a detail so considered and so small that it rewards the closest looking. Each earring hangs from its own integral wire, the bail formed naturally from the leaf's own structure.
The earrings are presented without a diamond. A 2.8mm light chocolate brown diamond set in a 14-karat yellow gold bezel may be added to one or both earrings for an additional cost — and pairs beautifully with the companion Calla Lily Leaf Pendant.
