TTransformation Teapot is another piece that was finished through the pandemic. I started the body of the teapot several years ago but did not have a clear vision of how it was to be finished. I believe that being secluded for months allowed me the freedom to be more creative. I realize that many people were frozen, afraid to do anything or think anything other than the pandemic. I however channeled my creative side during the pandemic.

A very geometric design side came out when working on this teapot, however I seem to be able to sneak in the wonderful cold forged branches that I continue to incorporate into my work. These branches creep into the teapot as if the piece had been abandoned in the woods and the roots penetrated the body of the teapot. I then utilized my hollow form techniques by making a hollow form handle ending with a cold forged section. The whole teapot has a high polish finish. This truly will make you smile when viewing or pouring!
