Oak Leaf Series/ Tahitian Pearl Earrings

I find that I am always drawn to oak leaves.  Oak trees signify strength to me because of their longevity and towering height.  The oak leaf series came to me after walking through a park in Kansas City, which has planted many varieties of trees and is always inspiring especially in the fall.

Each tiny leaf is meticulously created by the repoussé technique, to create the undulating shapes and form.  It is then cut from the metal and shaped by hand.  This series is created from a sterling metal called Argentium.  It is a more tarnish resistant metal than sterling silver and actually has a higher fine silver content than sterling silver.

Tiny sterling silver oak leaves embrace a fine silver granulated cap holding beautiful 7mm Tahitian pearls.  These are post earrings with sterling silver backs.  Approximately 1" in length.
