A design will be provided allowing ample time to learn the repoussé process.
Day 1 Students will transfer their pattern onto the metal and begin the repoussé process. A demo of using the tools properly will be given.
Day 2 Students will continue the repoussé technique and work towards finishing the process
Day 3-4 If students finish the initial fish project then I encourage you to bring materials to start a second project. Please keep in mind that students may or may not finish a second project during the class.

Although they will not be in the studio during class there is more than likely residual fur on the chairs and floor as they leave it as a remembrance of their presence! If you are allergic to cats then please come prepared with allergy medication. You will have access to a bathroom facility on the first floor, which requires you to climb stairs.
Please read the information below carefully before signing up.

If you would like to work in Argentium sheet or sterling silver sheet after finishing the introductory project then come with 22 gauge sheet in the material of your choice. I would suggest that you bring materials with the idea that you may be able to start a second project.

If you prefer to purchase copper or silver material from Genevieve Flynn Studio please let her know how much, what gauge, and what material you will need. She can then give you an estimate of what the cost could be. Please keep in mind that the metals market does fluctuate on a daily basis and depending on the market the day it is quoted is what you will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.
