Classes and workshops are offered on a regular basis. Whether you are just curious about metalsmithing or want to work on improving your existing skills, there is something available for you.

Instruction is available in group and private settings. Students can choose whether to purchase or rent tools.

Basics of a Sterling Silver Band

September 25, 2010 ~ 2 pm - 6 pm

Description

This workshoop will give the beginning to the more experienced student the opportunity to create a simple sterling silver ring.  The ring blank will be provided by Genevieve Flynn Studio and the student will be instructed as to how to go about stamping a design into the sterling silver blank, forming the ring, soldering the seam and then finishing the ring. 

Each student can expect to walk out with at least one finished sterling silver ring. 

All materials are included in the workshop fee.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be considerate when signing up and sign up three weeks in advance as materials need to be ordered ahead of time.

Fee: $130.00

Materials are included in class fee.

All materials will be provided by Genevieve Flynn Studio and are included in the workshop fee. 

If you have favorite tools that you work with bring them along, otherwise handtools are available for use at the studio.

Also, bring your OPTIVISOR if you need magnification!!!  The studio will not be able to allow students to use OPTIVISORS on hand.  Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Deposit of $50.00 required at sign up, balance due at class.
