Interested metal artists and students who wish to rent space to work on their own projects can now rent bench time at the studio. Any interested party can either schedule time on an hourly basis or buy a month-long pass at a reduced rate.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE  know that if you are planning on renting studio bench time that you will NEED to be able to perform the following tasks without asking for constant help.....YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SOLDER YOUR PROJECTS WITHOUT ASSISTANCE,  YOU MUST BE ABLE TO POLISH WITHOUT ASSISTANCE, YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR PROJECTS LINED UP SO THAT YOU CAN USE YOUR TIME EFFECTIVELY.   Please understand that renting Studio Bench Time simply means that you bring your hand tools and projects to utilize the space and tools that you may not have at home.   Genevieve is not there to TEACH so if you do not feel comfortable with these guidelines then Studio Bench Time may not be the right fit for you.

 

THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND HOURS ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE 8 WEEK CLASS SCHEDULE;

 

          Wednesday evening        6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

          Thursday afternoon         1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

          Friday afternoon             1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

          Saturday                     10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

ALL STUDIO BENCH TIME RENTAL MUST BE SCHEDULED PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL.  THANK YOU!!!

Times should be arranged with  Genevieve previous to coming into the studio to work.  This simply means that a telephone call before coming to ensure that space is available and that Genevieve will be there.

 

Interested individuals are welcome to utilize the kiln for the firing of PMC product or enamels, but due to rising utility costs I have to charge an additional firing fee of $15.00 for a period of 4 hours.  Any use after that time will incure an additional fee of $8.00 per 2 hours.

Studio Fees

 

$15 per hour

OR 

$145 monthly pass allows UP TO 18 hours of studio time

$200.00 monthly pass allows UP TO 25 hours of studio time

$295.00 monthly pass allows UP TO 35 hours of studio time 

NOTE:  STUDENTS ARE REQURED TO BRING THEIR OWN HAND TOOLS DURING BENCH RENTAL TIME.  THIS INCLUDES ANY POLISHING AND/OR GRINDING, SANDING ITEMS THAT WOULD BE USED ON THE FLEX SHAFT AND ALL POLISHING BUFFS AND COMPOUNDS ON THE LARGE BUFFING UNIT.  STUDENTS SHOULD ALSO BRING THEIR OWN FLUX AND SOLDERS!!!
